I decided to do My Progressive Life on a lark. A friend with a blog on WordPress suggested that I start blogging. So after taking an hour to come up with a name for the blog, My Progressive Life was born on November 7, 2009.
Many issues will be discussed on said blog. As you will be able to tell through various blog postings, I am a progressive. However, politics aren’t the only thing that will be discussed on this blog. While the name is a play off my ideological leanings, it is also meant to speak about life. My life, as well as everyone else’s, seems to progress at an incredible clip. It seems like yesterday that I arrived at college, and seven and a half years later, here I am: a grad student who is also a political veteran (and retiree, for now).
Usually, I will post just about everyday. But I will not post something for the sake of posting something; you can count on me actually having something to say up here. Hopefully, as I become more proficient with this blog, it can become an interesting place for people that I have and have not met to come and exchange opinions on politics and life in general.
